In this latest installment of the supernatural action film series, humans have discovered vampires and Lycans and waged a war of extermination against them, all but wiping out both species. A medical conglomerate called Antigen has led the crusade (while secretly collecting Selene and her hybrid daughter Eve, played by India Eisley for genetic experiments) Toward the end of the film, Eve is gassed unconscious, strapped to a surgical gurney and brought in for vivisection, but Selene has attacked the building (with the aid of a sympathetic human) to rescue her. Eve is hustled out of the surgery suite and into a waiting van, with Selene fast on their heels. In the basement car park, Selene stops the escaping van when she is attacked by a giant Lycan. As battle commence, Eve recovers from the anesthetic and emerges from the van, enraged.
