Simply gorgeous Bérénice Lim Marlohe plays Sévérine who along with our hero is captured and taken to a distant island covered by a vast deserted city. Sévérine is led away as our hero Bond is taken to meet Mr. Silva. Later, she's seen bloodied and bruised and tied to large statue in the courtyard with a heavy rope. Mr. Silva balances a shot glass of scotch on her head and forces James to shoot it off her head William Tell style with an old-fashioned dueling pistol. James misses and so Mr. Silva takes a shot. She doesn't survive.
*Perhaps the best James Bond film made in recent memory. I highly recommend you see it.*
