Neve Campbell plays police chief Kate Burkholder in this made for TV thriller about a series of violent murders in a small town in Alaska that match a narrow escape she had growing up in an Amish community. toward the end of the film, Kate is putting the final pieces to the crimes together with the aid of a sheriff in another town when she's chloroformed from behind by the killer. She wakes up wedged beside the backseat of her own truck, bound in a forward hogtie with black cords, gagged with a double-wrap of duct tape. She feigns unconsciousness as the killer gets her out of the truck, wraps a chain around her boots and drags her across the lawn, up the steps and into a farmhouse. He realizes she's faking it early on and un-gags her. Kate tries to buy time with some questions, meanwhile her brother is hot on the killer's trail....
