In this literacy program aimed at kids, the gang takes turns writing a scary story about a creepy looking doll dubbed "Gooey Gus" that spits out purple bubble gum, and comes to life when it overheats. The kids are tracking the slime monster's gooey trail on the sidewalk, when 'Gaby' Fernandez (played by Melissa Gonzalez) is attacked and slimed. Her hands and feet are quickly encased in the sticky stuff and she's hauled away in a wagon by the slime monster, screaming her head off. Her brother gives chase across a park, over a lake and down a dark tunnel, where Gaby is seen encased in rubbery purple goo. With help, he carries her back to the apartment and the kids figure out freezing the stuff will allow them to break it off. Later, Lenni Frazier (played by Blaze Berdahl) is home alone and gets attacked by the creature. the kids charge to the rescue and find her encased in purple slime pouch stuck to the door before they are attacked as well....
