After Nick (as well as several of the Szalinski inventions) go missing, the family joins a circus to find him. Toward the end of the episode Amy and Diane Szalinski ( played by Hillary Tuck and Barbara Alyn Woods again) are captured by the strong woman and left tied up back to back inside a midget's trailer, under guard of a pernicious Jack Russell terrier. Nick meanwhile has escaped his captors, brings the keys and opens the trailer, but the knots are impossible to untie. A friendly knife-thrower named Perky helps them out however.
