Delving into my guilty pleasures collection, toward the end of this comedy adventure loosely based on the classic comic book and cartoon franchise, Josie, Alexandra Cabot (played by Missi Pyle) and her brother Alex discover that the girls' eeeevil manager has been planting subliminal messages in the music to sell products to kids. They are caught in the act by Fiona and her thugs Alexandra and her brother sit on a couch tied up with guitar cards and gagged with record label stickers while Josie is being forced to perform. When she refuses Melody Valentine (played by Tara Reid) and Valerie Brown (played by Rosario Dawson) are brought out and stuffed into a car set to explode. Josie reluctantly agrees to play, but the wounded remains of a boy band turns up to make the save (well.... sort of). Josie uses the distraction to untie Valerie (although its never shown that the girls were ever restrained , doh !) and then a battle royale ensues between the hotties and the baddies.
