The girls are enjoying a Halloween party on-board a train, but of course their little web of secrets and lies gives them no respite. Aria Montgomery (played by Lucy Hale) is seated by herself when a masked figure walks by her table and dumps the contents of their poison ring into her glass. afterward there's a red herring in which Spencer Hastings (played by Troian Bellisario) is hand-gagged and dragged away, which leads to nothing. Afterward, Aria wakes up bound and gagged with duct tape and sealed inside a wooden crate. Her struggles flip the crate over onto the floor, and uncovers the fact there a dead body wrapped up inside with her. she gets the tape off her mouth (boo!!) and tries to use and errant nail to cut the tape loose from her wrists. Meanwhile two people arrive and try to shove the crate out off the train. It gets hung up on a bolt in the floor. Aria uses a conveniently found screwdriver to stab one of them through the crate slats. The crate hangs precariously in mid-air, but Aria's friends finally arrive and make the save.
