Brooke Shields plays Dale in this somewhat dull romantic adventure about a girl who wishes to fulfill her dead father's wish to win an auto race across the Sahara desert. In this clip, Dale and her companions are captured by an armed Arab tribe, the leader meaning to take Dale as his slave. She briefly escapes, but he chases her down on horseback, throws her on the saddle and brings her back to camp. Dale is thrown to the ground and later put in the man's tent. He later tries to force himself on her, but she puts up a fight and manages to set the man's tent on fire before fleeing into the sands. Sunstruck and wandering, Dale collapses unconscious near a nest of scorpions and is narrowly saved by the Sheikh's horse which stomps the bugs to death. Dale is brought back to camp,and her would-be owner flogs her, but as the Sheikh is his leader, he takes possession of Dale and has her put in his tent. She's briefly seen tied at the wrists, arms outstretched slightly before the Sheikh's manservant enters and offers to untie her.
