Diana Rigg plays Emma Peel in this episode in which she discovers the hard way that the charming little country town she's investigating has been infiltrated by unfriendly agents looking to set England up for an invasion. At the Vicar's office she examines a photo of the locals, but the man pulls a gun on her. She's confident that he won't shoot her during choir practice, however it turns out that the choir is tape recorder and so she makes a break for it, but two other armed men meet her at the door before she gets away. Later John Steed finds her trussed up against a wall with leather horse tackle, seated on a saddle and unties her.
