In this tepid, confused conspiracy movie, Mila Driver (Kristanna Loken) is jumped, grabbed, drugged with an injection in the neck and carried off by the members of a "secret society" when she and her partner delve too deeply into a mayor's assassination. While her partner puts a trace on her cellphone, Mila wakes up taped to a chair at wrists and ankles. She's told she's made the society nervous and must pay the price for her meddling and is given another injection in the arm, before being kicked in the chest and knocked to the floor. Her partner finds her still bound and unconscious, but alive.
