Sexy Natasha Henstridge plays Eve ( a cloned copy of the original creature) in this sequel to the original sci-fi horror tale about an alien life form created through instructions sent back from a deep space probe. In this opening scene, Eve is shown nude aside from the broad blue straps fastening her across the chest, throat and wrists as she's placed inside a closed tank and subjected to a nerve agent. Eve struggles, chokes, coughs and begs for help as the gas envelops her. Military overseers are initially pleased as welts appear on her skin, as it shows the gas might be an effective weapon in case the alien ever escaped, but their elation is short-lived as Eve's regenerative powers take effect almost immediately.
