In this remake of The Sphinx, Joan Woodbury plays intrepid reporter Barbara Mason who is sent into harm's way to try and catch killer. In this bit Joan idly plays a piano triggering secret door, revealing the killer's hiding place. Joan is in then confronted by the criminal twins and captured. Later, some errant cigar ash lets a cop trigger the hidden door and Joan is discovered gagged and tied to a chair inside. our hero unties the heroine.
