Rachel Nichols plays enhanced future cop Kiera Cameron in this science fiction crime series. In this extended clip, Kiera attempts to bring in a murder suspect for questioning and the man bolts from her. She follows him into the basement and is soon overcome with knockout gas and passes out. She wakes up securely strapped to a gurney, and gets the man talking about his crimes. apparently he's been ruhlessly avenging the victims of child predators, but has gone so far as to kill off witnesses who don't talk. She convinces the killer to shoot her with her own gun rather than killing her with his typical M.O. so he can "continue his work", and he reluctantly picks up her specialized weapon. Upon activation, the gun detects it's not being held by the proper user, and knocks the man out with an electrical charge. Rescue eventually finds her.
