Holliday Grainger plays Ruby in this pilot to a British six-part supernatural drama series about a reluctant teenage monster hunter and his campaign against the machinations of a clan of vampires descended from Mina Harker. In this clip, Ruby is kidnapped by a vampire along with our hero's mentor and taken to an abandoned building. The captives are tied up in chairs with black wire to serve as bait for our hero as well as Mina Harker, the vampire's mother. Mina brings the vampire what he wants- a vial of Dracula's pure blood, but instead of handing it over, she quaffs it and attacks him. Meanwhile the prisoners bring their chairs together back to back and untie each other. Mina cannot bring herself to kill her own offspring and so our hero shoots him in the neck.
