In this extended clip, Jordy Benattar plays daughter Jess Fuller and Cynthia Preston plays her mother Sue Fuller who are both kidnapped by two men as part of a scheme to extort money from Sue's wealthy estranged mother (who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's and has been convinced that Jess is living on the streets). After a flashback to the end of the action, Jess is grabbed while walking through an alley to catch a school bus and afterward her mother is grabbed and stuffed in the van after she tries to save her daughter and unmasks a kidnapper. In the van, after some chaos, pleading and struggle the ladies are bound and gagged with duct tape. A harried 911 call gets the cops on the kidnappers' tail, and so they take to the back streets but after spotting a police cordon, they ditch the van for another vehicle in a car park.
In the back of the truck, Jess fishes out her cellphone (that the kidnappers somehow missed) and calls 911. A quiet call goes out and Jess answers questions with button presses, while the mother tries to buy her time after getting her gag off. mom is re-gagged, the vehicle hits a bump, Jess loses the cellphone, which is grabbed and tossed out the window. At a seclude spot, the lead thug has his partner mom out into the woods to execute her. while that business is going on, he takes a picture of Jess with a gun to her head with his phone. The partner returns afterward and the kidnappers continue to the safehouse...
