The villainous Riff-Raff sends some goons to kidnap Sweet Polly Purebred by means of a moving van and so she's quickly captured , rolled up in a carpet and carried away. In a field filled with dozens of hot air balloons, Polly has been mummified in ropes and set in one of the waiting baskets, withe the remaining loaded with recordings of her voice crying for help. The balloons are let loose and so Underdog eventually hears Polly's cries and abandons his post guarding a huge gold shipment to rescue her. But going from balloon to balloon he finds nothing but recordings of her voice. Meantime, Polly's own ballon has sprung a leak and is rocketing toward Earth....
