Constance Marie plays Maria who finds herself stuck in an abusive marriage to a well-connected lawyer and asks the Cobra team for help to escape him. In the first bit, he catches her as she's about to pack up and leave their house, grabs her gags her and ties her up with duct tape before carrying her over his shoulder and dumping her in the trunk of his car. The police pull him over for a broken tail light, soon discover Maria in the trunk and arrest him. He gets off on a technicality and has some crooked federal agents kidnap her. At a warehouse she sits on a crate bound and gagged with tape watching as he raids a case for automatic weapons and waits for a copter to come pick them up. Maria meanwhile is surreptitiously cutting the tape around her wrists with the aid of a broken metal band on the crate she's seated on.
