Claire Bennet and Gretchen Berg (Hayden Panettiere & Madeline Zima, respectively) find their discussion of a girl / girl kiss interrupted by the sorority house they're pledge which comes to kidnap them for their initiation. The girls have their hands tied in front with duct tape and they are hooded with black bags. In the trunk of the car, the girls joke about their circumstances (there are entire websites dedicated to this) try to continue their talk, but the trunk lid pops open and they are taken out. in an abandoned building the girls kneel hooded and taped on the floor with two other pledges and are told this is a scavenger hunt with the winning team getting to skip Hell week entirely.
