A naive Army private runs in with a trader and Kathy 'Cresta' Lee ( a young Candice Bergen) in this classic western film. He does some snooping around the crazy old man's wagon and uncovers caches of hidden rifles bound for enemy tribes. He and Cresta are tied up and put in the back of the wagon which as it jolts along, the captives attempt to untie each other. The trader leaves the pair at the base of a tree, where the Army private finally succeeds in untying the woman with his teeth.
