Julia Lang plays Miss Frayle in this spooky little mystery. In this clip, she does some snooping and is cornered, hand-gagged and captured by a mysterious figure. Elsewhere our hero notices smoke and flames pluming from the household incinerator and dashes to investigate. Miss Frayle lays bound and gagged as the killer stokes the incinerator and then fetches a hand ax. He's grabbed by the heroes before any harm can come to Miss Frayle. Dr. Morelle unties her.
