Margaret Lindsay plays plucky assistant Nikki Porter who in a case of mistaken identity is captured at gunpoint by a government agent who takes her for a Gestapo spy. She's left behind in an apartment securely tied up and gagged over mouth with a large white towel. She manages to get a phone and dial her boss, but since she's gagged, she can't tell him where she is. He asks her for a clue and so she gets to her feet and tosses the phone receiver and all through the window so he can hear the street noises. He tracks the location but can't find the right place until she also tosses down a pillow and peeks her head out. He breaks down the down and unties her.
