Linked by a contributor, Laverne DeFazio ( Penny Marshall) and her room mate Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams) are sent to a weight loss center and promptly lose their food privileges. Worse, the pair are wrapped up from shoulders to ankles in bandages and left teasingly within hopping distance of the "golden locker" where all the junk food is kept locked up. Desperate and hungry, the gals hatch zany scheme after scheme to get into it and retrieve some food.
