Charlotte Lewis plays María-Dolores de la Jenya de la Calde in this rollicking high seas adventure about Captain Red and his band of cutthroats who hijack a Spanish navy vessel and claim it for their own, with Maria among the hostages taken. In the first bit, Maria and her beefy caretaker are saved from rape at the hands of some scum by a french pirate, Captain Red's right hand. Afterward, she and several other prisoners are seen with hands tied in front as Captain Red learns the grim news that the hostage biz just doesn't pay like it did in the old days. They are eventually untied so they can join Red and his men for dinner and grog.
