The late Joan Crawford played Blanche Hudson in this horror tale about a crippled woman who alternately loved and tormented by her insane younger sister, Jane a former child star. In this clip Jane gets a call from the police which spooks her and so she goes flying up to her sister's room, where Blanche lies in bed gagged with tape, and her hands tied to the bed assistance cord over her head. Jane raves at her sister, but once the gag is removed, Blanche tries to talk sense to her and fails. Blanche is re-gagged before Jane's guest arrives, an old fan who is nearly as mad as she is.
