In this violent revenge tale, a retired thief is coaxed out of retirement for one more big score in the form of a jewel heist which ends with his brother and a partner getting killed by a psychopath involved in the deal. in this first bit, Cathi Rose (Lucy Liu) is hand-gagged and forced into her apartment by our anti-hero looking for the killer. After a room to room search, he questions her. Later, Rachel Montana (Famke Janssen) gets kidnapped by the psychopathic gangster Skip. She's seen seated in the back of the car, with her hands behind her, mouth stuffed and cleave gagged as Skip shoots a crook who was beating his girlfriend (and killing her as well.) Rachel is seen once more at the end of the film as her bloodied rescuer staggggers in to untie her.
