In this mildly amusing kids' film, two girls get involved in solving an apparent murder after the new principal at their school becomes a neighbor and his visiting niece suddenly vanishes. In the first bit, in a flashback as the girls compare notes about what they know, Nancy (Jessica Cushman) is shown being held at gunpoint by her uncle and then comically bound up and gagged in a chair, struggling away. Afterward things take a more serious turn as Allison 'Frog' Parker (Katie Stuart) is confronted by the man who believes she has a incriminating video tape proving his true identity. He kidnaps her back to the school, leaving her tied up and gagged in his office as he searches her locker for the tape. While he's away, Allison tries desperately to signal for help on her walkie-talkie. Not finding the tape, he loads Allison in the back seat of his car, threatening to put her somewhere where she'll never be found, with the poor kid crying and struggling the entire time. Meantime, Jane 'Wombat' Walker has stolen a golf cart and is giving chase, with the cops not far behind her...
