An investigation into a homicide during a home burglary drops one of the team into the lair of a serial killer who collects the severed fingers of his victims. Pretty Heather Dubrow plays Emily, the guileless girlfriend of the killer who visits him with some oxtail soup as he's "sick". He waylays her and drags her unconscious down the stairs into the basement. While the killer is tying and gagging Emily, our hero takes the opportunity to cut his feet loose and somehow roll over and get his hands in front. A fight ensues, Emily gets out of her chair and scrambles for the gun on the floor. Three shots ring out as the rest of the team enters the house...
