In this episode from the perennial science fiction adventure series, Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) as well as Kirk and Chekov are beamed to the distant world of Triskelion where they are confronted by a motley band of armed alien gladiators. With their phasers useless, the heroes go hand-to-hand and they are soon overpowered and captured. The trio are briefly seen manacled to a wall after their pain inducing collars are in place, and are released to begin their training as "thralls".
*So nice of Captain Kirk to let little puny Chekov take on the massive 8 foot giant with the fangs, wasn't it?*
