Amy De Bhrún plays Ellen Barethon in this straight to DVD fantasy tale about a displaced noblewoman trying to recover her lands from a evil empire as a fiendish dragon lays waste to the countryside. In the first bit, Ellen falls in with a mercenary rogue and while trekking through the woods, they step into a trap,and wind up hanging by one ankle in mid-air. The pair are quickly hooded with sacks and brought before a minor lord with a small grievance against the mercenary (Ellen is cleave-gagged, both have their hands bound behind them with leather cords.). Afterward, Ellen languishes in a prison cell where a lord offers to take her as a wife, but she refuses. she's brought before the kind in shackles where a trail by combat is to be held and she's escorted away before it begins. she uses her magic to burn the shackles away.
