Jessi (Martha Fries) discovers one of the boys involved in a rash or burglaries is a friend of hers and tries to talk him out of what he's doing. Their conversations is overheard and Jessi is hand-gagged and captured. The boys tie her hands behind her and gag her with tape and then she's stuffed into the back of their car. But another kid Jessi befriended has seen what's happened, sticks some gum in the car's ignition switch and calls for help.
