In this action comedy, Fann Wong plays Chon Lin who along with our heroes is caught up in a plot between Chinese Boxers and a distant royal relative in England to assassinate the royal family and take the crown, while looking for a Chinese Imperial seal that's been stolen by a street urchin. The trio are caught on a bridge by armed men and afterward, Chon Lin is shown standing, gagged over the mouth and tied with arms overhead by thick ropes. As the heroes are interrogated, Chon Lin is stretched in a rack improvised with cargo pulleys. Afterward she's carried off by a thug and loaded into a waiting carriage. Later, inside a tent she's shown kneeling with her hands tied behind her, still gagged. As the lead baddie readies to open fire with a machine gun on the royal family during a fireworks display, he orders a thug to cut her throat and dump her body by the gun. Our hero saves the day, and gets slapped in the face for "being late".
