Inside No. 9 is a British dark comedy anthology series written by The League of Gentlemen members Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton. Each episode is a standalone story, featuring separate characters and situations, linked only by their events happening behind very different doors marked 'number 9'. The stories are all darkly humorous with unexpected twists, rather like Tales from the Crypt.
In this episode young schoolgirl Katy (played by Aimee-Ffion Edwards) takes a job babysitting a pair of effete oddball strangers, where some snooping uncovers an old man gagged with bandages and tied to a bed. Worse, her friend Shelly appears to be in league with the sinister strangers Katy finds herself surrounded by. Katy tries to escape and Shelly knocks her out with an injection in the neck. Katy wakes up with an I.V. in her back, stripped to her underwear, zip-tied to a chair, cleave gagged with a bandage, as she's about to become the host the demon living inside the old man's body.
