Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher) is caught kissing Superman, causing much public hue & cry that she's cheating on her husband Clark Kent. But this is all part of a mogul's scheme to discredit and destroy the big blue boy scout, as well as an impending peace conference. Lois gets grabbed off the street and is gassed unconscious by the lead baddie. She wakes up tape gagged and chained down on a bed planted over a large bomb. Superman turns up to make a public announcement but is slipped a note that Lois is in danger and flies off. his arrival triggers a weight sensitive device on the bomb under Lois, and she's forced to charade out what's really happening to Superman. He zooms in and rescues her regardless.
