A bank job goes awry, leaving one of a trio of thieves dead. Worse, Penny Hart (played by Connie Hines) the wife of the man killed is getting nervous with the police leaning on her. One of the other crooks tries to sweet talk her and when that fails, he knocks her out, gags her with white tape and ties her up. He then wraps Penny up like a parcel in some bedclothes and hangs the bundle out the bedroom window of the third floor apartment. Penny is seen briefly struggling in her wrappings as the belt holding her aloft begins to crack, split and fray apart. Fortunately for her, the cops turn up and pull her to safety before she plummets to her doom.
