In this 80s science fiction / action / horror film, Elpidia Carrillo plays Anna, who is knocked out and taken captive by a special forces team sent into the South American jungle to rescue a cabinet minister. The mission however turns out to be a bogus hit set up by the CIA to clean out a nest of rebels who had shot down one of their surveillance choppers. Anna is bound with hands in front with zip-cuffs given over the the team's CIA man as his "baggage" to lug through the jungle to the recovery helicopter. Anna tries to escape. In her last attempt, the team's radio man is sent after her. He catches Anna and while the pair struggle "something" emerges from the jungle and cuts him apart. The team find Anna nearly catatonic and Hawkins missing (although some of his remains are located afterward) . Questioning the girl she babbles about the jungle coming alive and taking him. Later, Anna finds some glowing goo on some leaves and wipes it on her pants. After a night attack by the creature, Anna tells them about something camouflaged and Dutch our hero finally cuts her hands loose.
