In this segment from the German incarnation of "America's Most Wanted" aimed at resolving unsolved crimes with audience participation, an entire family is victim to home invasion style robbery by two masked thugs. everyone is gathered together, husband, wife and children and handcuffed face down on the living room floor. Their ankles are also tied together, and random captives appear to be gagged with translucent medical tape. Dad is forced to open a safe filled with cash & jewelry and then returned to join the other hostages. After the robbers leave, one of the daughters manages to squeeze one hand out of her cuffs, peel the tape off her mouth and call the police.
