Clare Kramer plays Lieutenant Karly Brant in this silly science fiction / horror/ comedy about a gigantic alien arachnid that escapes a military lab and wreaks havoc in Los Angeles. In the first bit, she gets stuck in some webbing on some trees and finds she can't get free. She's hand-gagged by our chubby exterminator hero before he heats up a knife and cuts her loose. Afterward, pursued by the spider, she's webbed up by the creature and hauled away in a cocoon. Later, we see Karly webbed up on the floor of hi-rise building along with other victims as food for the alien spider's young, which are due to hatch any moment. Our hero and his partner arrive just in time to save her.
