Frances Dade plays Joan Marshall who gets herself caught, hand gagged and carried off by a man who is secretly in league with the daughter of the notorious Fu Manchu. She is brought through a secret passage into a cellar and bound to a chair. Later, our hero is brought to her, and Joan is seen struggling, gagged with a white cloth. The man is tied to a chair nearby and made to watch our villainess's terrible revenge as a vial of acid is rigged up to melt Joan's face. She passes out, but is revived. Our hero is given the choice to either stab Joan with a knife and kill her or watch her agony. Fortunately, Scotland Yard turns up to save the day.
