Briefly, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio plays Lindsey Brigman in this undersea science fiction adventure, in which a civilian diving team are enlisted to search for a lost nuclear submarine and face danger while encountering an alien aquatic species. In this clip, Lindsey is overpowered a silenced with duct tape plastered firmly over her mouth by a military man turned paranoid thanks to being underwater for so long. After gagging her, she and the other crew members are locked up in the kitchen under guard.
