In this clip from the episode, an attempt to rescue Micheal who is buried up to his neck in the desert turns into betrayal, as Sarah Graiman (Deanna Russo) is sucker punched with the butt of a shotgun by Micheal's old Army buddy gone bad. He orders Micheal to shut KITT down or he'll kill Sarah. With Micheal chained up out of the way and and Sarah crouching bound and gagged with duct tape, the baddies fry KITT's systems with a military grade electromagnetic weapon, so he can't be traced so they can steal it. Elsewhere the team struggles desperately to reboot the super car's auxiliary systems and save the day.
