In this pilot episode, Princess Opal and the Stone Protectors are caught off-guard by the reptilian Zok and his allies, quickly overwhelmed, netted, speared and captured. But one Protector gets the better of the baddies by turning invisible and playing some ominous monster sounds on a keyboard, scaring them off. Later, the Princess and two other Protectors get wrapped up and bound by tendrils sent out by a massive living island that's irritated with their presence, climbing around on its back. One Protector's attempts to cut himself free, just make it madder. The captured heroes are gagged with wrap-around vines, preventing potential rescue by another Protector. They eventually work themselves free.
