Catherine O'Hara plays shameless, obnoxious, ambulance-chasing lawyer Geraldine Ferrett, who faces her own legal nightmare in the Podunk town of Stuecksville, where she's busted for a simple moving violation, which eventually leads to her getting stuck in a pillory for year. In her dirty dungeon cell, Geraldine is visited by ghoulish remnants of the collateral victims of her legal actions, but she's released on appeal ( to face even worse punishments, unfortunately for her. )
