November, 1916. Indiana Jones and Remy Baudouin have managed to get a transfer from the European trenches to the plains of Africa. When they take the wrong train they end up in Moshi. Desprerate to join their unit in Lake Victoria, the two men bump into the 25th Royal Fusiliers, a unit of cranky old men led by Indy's old acquaintance Frederick Selous. Things take a turn when the band disguise themselves to cross German territory, and the leader shoots a German messenger off her saddle with an expert rifle shot. Margaret Trappe (Lynsey Baxter) is taken prisoner by the group. She's seen seated uncomfortably in a wagon, cleave-gagged with her hands tied behind her. When Indy un-gags her she says "Never mind, I am sure you enjoy tying women up". When Indy tries to feed her, she takes one bite, sniffs and says, "I'd like my gag back, please." Later, she's stuffed into a hidden compartment of the wagon as the soldiers abduct a German officer. She bucks, kicks and breaks loose, drawing attention of passing soldiers who set her free.
