In this unsolved mystery, a wealthy older woman is robbed by two masked men, who slip into the house bind and gag her in her bed with duct tape and while one watches her, gun in hand, the other cleans the place out of artwork, silver, expensive rugs. After loading everything up they take pains to better secure their victim, tying her wrists to the bed frame above her head and then gagging her with a knotted scarf and a bit of tape as well. The crooks cut the phone lines, but were good enough to call a family member to let her know the old woman was in dire straits.
