In this episode, Marie Dumont (Sophie Barjac) has the misfortune to walk in on the suffocation murder of a wounded man, and is promptly captured and hand-gagged by the crooks. In the back of a wagon, Marie is seen seated in a forward hogtie, bound with rope and cleave gagged with a scarf. When the wagon stops, she makes a brief escape attempt, but is easily caught. The killers haul her around from camp to camp with our heroes in hot pursuit.
