Kidnapped in previous episode, Kenya Rosewater (Mia Kirshner) is held in a unknown location by a masked outlaw and seen chained by the waist to plate bolted into the round. After a call to threaten her sister to get her to work faster on releasing an alien being interrogated, she's pistol-whipped unconscious. Elsewhere, Irisa Nolan (Stephanie Leonidas) is on the search for a renegade psychic and walks into a rope trap which leaves her hanging in mid-air by the ankle. The psychic threatens to kill her, but after some quick angry anxious discussion, Irisa is cut down. Kenya wakes up and uses her metal dinner tray to try and break her chains. Afterward, she has success prying the plate out of the concrete and with chain in hand shew attacks her kidnapper. She tries to take his truck, but failing that, she unlocks the cumbersome chain, grabs his communicator and tries to tell her sister where she is. She's attacked and recaptured while making the call. Finally, during the hostage exchange, thing s go amiss and the kidnapper flees, but Kenya wanders out of the shadows apparently unharmed.
