Karen Greene plays Susan who entices camp mascot Corporal Rusty to leave the safety of the fort walls to watch the local Indian uprising. The kids are caught by some warriors and afterward seen tied hand and foot inside a tent. Rusty tries to untie Susan, but is prevented from doing so. Rin Tin Tin creeps back to camp with an arrow in his back, but he isn't badly hurt and brings back help. The dog creeps into the tent and unties Rusty.
