In this extended clip from a made for TV movie, Amanda White (Jayne Heitmeyer) is captured by hostile natives while she's collecting firewood. They haul her off to their camp, and after some ritual menacing dressed as various fauna of the lost world, they tie her in place on a wooden triangle frame which is then hoisted high into the air on the cantilevered arms of the huge statue, as some sort of sacrifice. Our heroes are in hot pursuit however, and it only takes a few blasts of bullets to dissuade the natives from preventing her rescue.
Later, another member of the team shows his true colors and has Djena (Gregoriane Minot Payeur) and a young man tied up and then bound side by side to a tree so he can continue on with Professor Challenger alone. Our hero arrives in the nick of time, and a fight ensues. He gets the gun, but hands it over when the baddie puts a knife to Djena's throat. Djena bites the man's hand, the young man kicks the gun out of his other hand, and then he and the hero take long tumble down the hill.
