In this dark vision of the future where the drug of choice is "wire-tripping" or re-living the experiences of others recorded on playback disks, a street cop turned hustler finds his sleazy life turned upside-down after a controversial rapper / rebel leader named Jericko One is executed by some crooked cops and the deed is recorded in playback. In the first bit, our anti-hero sneaks in a wire-trip session in the back of a limo driven by a friend (who hates the technology). what starts off as an exciting breaking and entering playback turns horrifying as Iris (Brigitte Bako) is attacked, tasered, handcuffed, blindfolded, raped and then strangled to death by the intruder. Worse, the killer puts the girl into the feedback loop so she can experience the attack from her killer's point of view.
Later, after the mains suspect in the killings is found on the floor with his brains liquefied, he plays back another disk and finds Faith Justin (Juliette Lewis) handcuffs to a bedframe, blindfolded, with a belt being tightened around her neck during a consensual rough sex session with... the real killer.
*Some pretty dark grim action here, a definite departure from my usual fare, granted. So be advised.*
