In this adventure, the technically advanced Lionians are dying from a strange disease, and turn to abducting outside women to repopulate their diminished numbers. In the first bit, a pretty girl is snatched by kidnappers. Hand-gagged and dragged off into the bushes. the kidnappers try to grab Jane as well, but she gets away from them with Tarzan's help. The kidnapped native girl briefly seen gagged with her hands tied behind her in a canoe as she's taken away. Later, Jane (Vanessa Brown) and half-breed nurse Lola (Denise Darcel) get hand-gagged and captured by the slavers and spend some time slogging through the jungle with their kidnapper shackled together at the ankle. They meet up with another band of captured girls and are escorted into the city. Dressed harem style, Lola is hauled away kicked and struggling after the crooked high priest accuses her of lying. she's give 20 lashes off-screen as the other slave girls look on in horror. They crowd around her supportively as she leans against a post with her arms manacled over her head.
